Treecup has successfully funded 10,000 trees since October 2017. We've been featured in press publications including Pittsburgh Post Gazette, NEXT Pittsburgh, The Butler Eagle, The Collegian, Future Founders, Commonbond, Pieshell, and Haiti Friends.
Founded by mother and son using their grandma's Peruvian Chai tea recipe, we at Treecup are committed to mobilizing a mass reforestation effort in the Artibonite Valley of Haiti.

As a Senior at Grove City College studying entrepreneurship, Mark Sotomayor is propelled by the vision of reversing environmental degradation. Mark is passionate about entrepreneurship, the great outdoors, and sharing his favorite drinks with the world.
Tea-FO & Mom - Vitalia Sotomayor
Vitalia Sotomayor grew up in Lima, Peru and immigrated to the United States in 1995! Vitalia loves the beauty of the outdoors - she's always been an avid gardener. Having brewed a tasty tea beverage her whole life, she now aims to facilitate bottled tea production to the masses.
Treecup used to be know by the name Té Amo, which means "I Love You" in Spanish. We changed our name to better represent our tree-planting focus.
